Iannone sets the pace in FP2

Andrea Iannone set the fastest time during the second practice for motogp's Italian Grand Prix on Friday to cap a week in which his move to Suzuki from Ducati was confirmed. Iannone has been replaced at Ducati by reigning world champions Jorge Lorenzo as of next season, but was snapped up quickly by Suzuki as the replacement for Maverick Vinales. The out-going Ducati driver's response was snatching top spot from Lorenzo right at the end of the session at Mugello, ending up the afternoon session nearly half a second on the Spaniard.
