Pedrosa undergoes surgery on fractured collarbone

Honda MotoGP star Dani Pedrosa has undergone surgery in Spain on his right collarbone to treat the injury he sustained in his massive crash during Friday’s second free practice session for the Japanese Grand Prix. Pedrosa was launched off his Honda RC213V at Turn 11 in the closing minutes of FP2, and landed heavily. He was on his feet right away, but headed straight to the medical centre on a scooter, where he was diagnosed with a right collarbone fracture. After flying back to Spain, Pedrosa underwent an operation on Saturday afternoon.
