Pedrosa breaks collarbone in FP2 crash

Honda's Dani Pedrosa has been diagnosed with a broken right collarbone after his big crash in FP2 at Motegi. Pedrosa was launched off his Honda RC213V at Turn 11 in the closing minutes of second practice, suffering a heavy fall. He was on his feet right away, but headed straight to the medical centre on a scooter, where he was diagnosed with a right collarbone fracture. While medical checks are ongoing, it appears likely that Pedrosa will not continue taking part in the Japanese Grand Prix weekend.
