Pedrosa withdraws after fracturing collarbone

– Dani Pedrosa will miss this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix after fracturing his collarbone during a high-speed crash in practice at Motegi.Pedrosa was rounding Turn 11 during the final few minutes of the second session when he was launched skywards, before landing heavily on his right collarbone.Pedrosa limped away from the scene and was transferred straight to the medical centre, where riders quickly assessed his condition, diagnosing a fracture.Repsol Honda confirmed that Pedrosa will fly back to his native Spain tonight.This weekend's Japanese Grand Prix is the first of three races in successive weeks, with the sport visiting Australia and Malaysia before the end of the month.
