Dani Pedrosa emerged as the quickest man in a wet morning warm-up session for the German MotoGP round at the Sachsenring, while his Repsol Honda teammate Marc Marquez suffered a heavy crash. The 20-minute session took place entirely in torrential conditions, with Loris Baz (Avintia Ducati) and Jack Miller (Marc VDS Honda) engaging in a private battle for the top spot in the opening stages.
