MotoGP Phillip Island: Binder holds of Mir in last lap thriller

Brad Binder held off a late charge from Joan Mir to hold onto victory in Phillip Island, as the Moto2 World Championship battle heads to Malaysia. Starting from the second row, Binder wasted little time in fighting through to immediately get to the front. Binder was part of a leading, then, with five laps remaining, the South African put the hammer down and started to put a gap into the field. Despite a late charge from Joan Mir and a last lap mistake from Binder, the Red Bull KTM man managed to hold on for his third win of the year by just 0.036 seconds.
