MotoGP reschedules British GP due to weather concerns

The British Grand Prix will start 90 minutes earlier than originally planned due to weather concerns, MotoGP organisers have confirmed. The race was due to start at 13:00 local time, but has been moved to 11:30 in the hope of avoiding the worst of the weather. Moto3 and Moto2 have also been moved to 13:00 and 14:30 respectively – weather dependent. Although rain is forecast throughout Sunday, the worst is expected to arrive at lunchtime. Saturday's qualifying was also hit by showers and caused a multi-rider crash at Stowe that saw Tito Rabat hospitalised after he was struck by a rivals bike.
