MotoGP Silverstone: MotoGP race moved to 11:30 start

MotoGP bosses have made the call to move tomorrows MotoGP race forward to 11:30am in a bid to avoid the worst of the rain at Silverstone. With the worst of the rain scheduled to arrive around lunchtime, the decision was made to make the MotoGP race the first of the day to try and get it completed before the heavens open. MotoGP Race Director Mike Webb said that the decision to move the MotoGP bikes to the first race of the day due to the fact they’re harder to ride with standing water on the track due to the power they possess and their wider Michelin tyres.
