Marc Marquez dominates a wet third practice ahead of Johann Zarco

Marc Marquez proved untouchable in the tricky conditions of MotoGP FP3, the Honda rider over six tenths clear of second-placed Johann Zarco. Cooler temperatures and a sprinkling of rain during the previous Moto2 session meant the track remained damp for FP3, denying anyone the chance to improve on their Friday best and secure a place in the second part of qualifying. Friday pacesetter Marquez comfortably made it into Q2, and set the initial benchmark at the start of third practice with a 1:51.794s.
