MotoGP completes Race Direction department reshuffle

The restructuring carried out by the organising bodies of the MotoGP world championship has concluded, Motorsport.com has learned. This process began immediately after the end of last season, as Motorsport.com revealed the departure of Javier Alonso, one of the more senior members of Race Direction, from series promoter Dorna. In the following weeks, the new structure was defined, with the Race Direction and Safety departments both being staffed by four key figures from the various organising bodies.
