MotoGP: Marquez ‘intermediates don’t exist to us’

While the gamble to switch straight from full wets to slicks – and forego Michelin’s new intermediate option tyres – eventually proved to be the move that won last weekend’s German Grand Prix for Marc Marquez, (and the downfall of some of his rivals), he was quick to point out after the race that the new rubber was never an option.
