'I should have come in earlier'

LCR Honda rider Cal Crutchlow, who started Sunday's MotoGP German GP in 13th position, had a brilliant ride in wet tricky conditions at Sachsenring to finish in second place. The British rider finished ahead of Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso, both behind race winner Marc Marquez on his Repsol Honda. Crutchlow fought his way up to a podium finish using wet tyres, due to the conditions, with a harder front tyre option and as the surface began to dry and riders changed their tyre options the LCR Honda rider found himself in third position.
