Lorenzo considered withdrawing at Assen

– Reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo has admitted he considered withdrawing from the Dutch TT as he struggled for performance at a rain-affected Assen.Lorenzo started from only 10th place on the grid and slumped to the back of the pack as wet weather disrupted proceedings.Lorenzo kept going and was able to profit from a high accident rate to finish 10th, albeit slipping 24 points behind Honda rival Marc Márquez in the standings."In the first race I was in 19th place and the last rider," said Lorenzo."I was even thinking about stopping because the conditions on the track were terrible, but I kept riding and they stopped the race."We restarted the race with less...
