Espargaró secures two-year Aprilia switch

– Aprilia has confirmed that Aleix Espargaró will ride for the team in 2017 and 2018, alongside Sam Lowes, meaning the outfit will field an all-new line-up next year.Espargaró intimated last month that he was set to leave Suzuki at the end of the season, a decision which was confirmed last week when the manufacturer announced Alex Rins as Andrea Iannone's team-mate.Espargaró has now secured a switch to Aprilia for next season, alongside current Moto2 title contender Lowes, for what is set to be his seventh full-time campaign in the premier class.Espargaró made his MotoGP debut for Pramac in 2009 and has raced full-time in the category since 2012, having competed for ART, Forward...
