Espargaro seals second Aprilia MotoGP seat for 2017

Suzuki rider Aleix Espargaro will join the Aprilia MotoGP team next season, the Spaniard filling the final factory seat on the 2017 grid. Espargaro's exit from Suzuki was finally confirmed on Monday, when the Japanese manufacturer confirmed that Moto2 rider Alex Rins had been selected to join its line-up alongside Andrea Iannone. But, speaking earlier this month at Catalunya, Espargaro was seemingly already resigned to his fate - and revealed he was in talks with Aprilia, among other teams, for a 2017 ride.
