Ducati confirms Dovizioso will partner Lorenzo

Ducati has confirmed that Andrea Dovizioso will stay with the Italian squad for the 2017 MotoGP season, as revealed by Motorsport.com on Monday. The Italian will partner reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo, who will join Ducati from Yamaha after this year. The news means Andrea Iannone will leave the Italian team at the end of the current season. Dovizioso's new deal is for next year and 2018.
