Honda confirm new two-year deal with Dani Pedrosa

The Repsol Honda MotoGP team has officially confirmed that Dani Pedrosa will remain with the team for the 2017 season after signing a new two-year deal with the Japanese outfit. Pedrosa had been linked with the vacant seat at Yamaha to partner Valentino Rossi, but with confirmation from Honda ending such rumours, it strengthens speculation Maverick Vinales will now make the move. Pedrosa will partner Marc Marquez, although the two-time champion has yet to officially confirm a new deal with Honda.
