Honda confirms two-year Pedrosa deal

– Repsol Honda has confirmed that Dani Pedrosa will continue to ride for the team until the end of 2018 after the Spaniard penned a two-year contract extension.Pedrosa has been a Honda rider throughout his career, graduating to MotoGP in 2006 with the manufactuer, and has taken 28 wins across 171 races in the premier class.Pedrosa has finished as the runner-up in the championship on three occasions, in 2007, 2010 and 2012."I'm very happy to be able to announce my renewal with Repsol Honda," he said."I'm very grateful to Honda for the trust they've shown in renewing with me for an additional two years.
