Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo lead the way in French GP practice

Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo set the pace in Friday’s two French Grand Prix practice sessions at Le Mans. Honda rider Pedrosa ended FP1 with a best time of 1:34.042, finishing just four hundredths clear of Lorenzo. His team-mate Marc Marquez was third. Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso and Andre Iannone were fourth and sixth, with Valentino Rossi’s Yamaha between the two. Pol Espargo was seventh, ahead of Maverick Vinales, who was the highest placed Suzuki. Loris Baz and Cal Crutchlow completed the top 10, despite the former falling at Turn 8 late in the session.
