Pedrosa quickest at Le Mans

Dani Pedrosa got his Le Mans weekend underway with a P1 in Friday's opening practice, a session in which the top 14 riders were separated by just a second. On a sunny morning at the Le Mans circuit, Andrea Dovizioso led the early running with a 1:36.181. Ten minutes later he was down in third place, 0.123s off the pace, as Pol Espargaro hit the front on his Suzukia with a 1:35.054. Marc Marquez slotted into second place while his championship rivals, Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, were fourth and fifth quickest.
