Pedrosa has ‘strange day’ at Jerez test
Dani Pedrosa says that the one-day test at Jerez following last weekend’s race at the Spanish circuit was a ‘strange day’ for him, with improved track conditions not brining the improvement in grip the team where hoping for. Jerez is a notoriously slippery track when the temperatures rises, but Pedrosa said that despite cooler temperatures they were nonetheless hampered by similar problems to Sunday’s race. “We basically tried to improve on the feeling we had in Sunday’s race. It was a strange day, because the weather was fantastic and the asphalt offered a very good level of grip, but the lap times weren’t much different to what we saw over the Grand Prix weekend.”...
