MotoGP organisers have modified the final corner of the Red Bull Ring for safety reasons ahead of this weekend's Austrian Grand Prix. Following last month's two-day familiarisation test at the Spielberg track, which is hosting Grand Prix motorcycle racing for the first time since 1997, it was decided that the last corner - Turn 10, dubbed Red Bull Mobile - required changes to improve safety. In order to reduce the risk of a serious incident, the corner has been narrowed from 13 metres to 10, thereby lowering the exit speed of the turn and distancing the riders from the outside barrier.
