Jack Miller showed no signs of nerves as he shot from 22nd to 12th during the opening lap of his first ever MotoGP race, in Qatar. The young Australian, who has joined the premier-class straight from Moto3, was then shuffled back to 21st before spending the closing stages in a fight for 18th with fellow Open Honda riders Eugene Laverty and Karel Abraham.
