Spanish rider Pol Espargaro is following Tech3 Yamaha teammate Bradley Smith to KTM in a deal announced by the MotoGP debutants on Thursday. The Austrian manufacturer said in a statement that the 24-year-old former Moto2 champion, currently seventh in the top flight, had signed a two-year contract. British rider Smith agreed a similar deal in March while Finland's Mika Kallio has been appointed test rider.
