Valentino Rossi says he understands why Maverick Vinales is mulling over staying put at Suzuki next season rather than joining him at the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team. With Jorge Lorenzo leaving Yamaha to join Ducati in 2017 means that his place will need to be filled with another competent rider.
