Marquez felt threatened by me - Stoner

Casey Stoner believes that his post-retirement involvement with Honda did not reach its potential due to the fact that Marc Marquez felt threatened by his presence at the team. Marquez replaced Stoner at Honda when the two-time World Champion called time on his career after the 2012 season, although the Australian retained close ties with the team that he had enjoyed so much success with. Stoner rejoined Honda in mid-2013 as a test rider, a role he continued to perform until February 2015. When Marquez's Repsol Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa was forced to miss last season's races in Austin and Argentina due to an arm pump issue, Stoner was considered a possible replacement, but Honda instead...
