Marquez 'closer but maybe not close enough'
Marc Marquez believes he is closer to Jorge Lorenzo in terms of race pace in Le Mans compared to Jerez but he doesn't know whether it will be close enough. The 22-year old was speaking at the qualifying press conference after claiming his third MotoGP pole position of 2015. Marquez ended the 15-minute shootout half a second clear of second placed Andrea Dovizioso and was content to be closer to the front after a difficult weekend. “It's not been an easy weekend,” said Marquez. “In free practice we try many, many things. Every time we go out the bike was different but when we go out in qualifying we put the best set up. Even then we change a small thing and it was working quite good....
