British rider thrills then falls in front of French fans, topping the time sheets ahead of Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso. Bradley Smith gave a stunning performance in the second free practice session at Le Mans to take the fastest time of the day and thrilling his French Tech 3 team. Smith was the most consistent Yamaha rider in the afternoon, along with Lorenzo. The British rider eventually set the fastest time of 1m 33.179, while factory Yamaha rider Lorenzo finished 0.179s behind.
