Germany's Sachsenring extends MotoGP contract until 2026

The Sachsenring will continue to host the German round of the MotoGP world championship until at least 2026, following a contract extension with Dorna. The circuit has been part of the MotoGP calendar since 1998 and, pre-Covid, was one of the few venues to top 200,000 weekend fans. The German event was among those dropped from the shortened 2020 line-up while the 2021 round, on June 18-20, will be held behind closed doors.
