Mir hoping for “higher” temperatures in Alcaniz GP following soft tyre struggles

MotoGP points leader Joan Mir says he is hoping for “higher” temperatures during Sunday’s Alcaniz Grand Prix after struggling to make the soft front tyre work in qualifying. The Suzuki pilot admitted he “didn’t feel so good with the soft” front tyre after qualifying a lowly 12th having focussed on making the medium compound front rubber work during practice.
