Dorna steps up illegal streaming battle with LaLiga partnership

MotoGP organiser Dorna has teamed up with the Spanish football league LaLiga to utilise its anti-piracy tools in order to stage a fight-back against illegal streaming of its championships. Dorna-who also run the World Superbike Championship-will receive help from LaLiga’s Technological Content Protection service to tackle illegal audio and video content from the two championships across mobile app, social media and all other digital platforms. Included as part of LaLiga’s TCP service will be the monitoring and potential shutdown of fake profiles that use Dorna’s logo and likeness, while its human, technical and legal resources will comb through search engines to eliminate any illegal...
