Andrea Iannone has been declared fit for a return to competition at Le Mans
Andrea Iannone has been passed fit ahead of the Le Mans round of the 2019 MotoGP World Championship, with his left ankle injury that he picked up in a scary crash during FP4 in Jerez having suffiiciently healed to make a return at the French circuit. Iannone passed a medical examination this afternoon at Le Mans that will allow him to re-join the fray for the fifth round of the championship. The Aprilia man was forced to miss the Jerez race as a result of his injury, the Noale-based squad reverting to a two bike line-up for Aleix Espargaro and test rider Bradley Smith, who was already taking part in his second wildcard event of the season.
