Jorge Lorenzo hospitalised after monster FP2 crash

Jorge Lorenzo has been taken to hospital in Buriram following a massive highside crash during MotoGP FP2 in Thailand, but is thought to have escaped any serious injuries. The Spaniard came into the Thailand weekend nursing a foot injury, after suffering a dislocated toes and compound fracture of the fifth metacarpal in his right foot in a highside in the opening lap of the Aragon Grand Prix.  Declared fit to ride at Buriram on Thursday, Lorenzo crashed at Turn 3 in the latter stages of FP2 when the rear of his Ducati came round on him as a result of a suspected mechanical issue, launching him into the air while his bike destroyed itself as it barrel rolled.  Lorenzo was conscious...
