Qatar MotoGP test: ‘I'll probably race for two more years' - Rossi
Valentino Rossi has dropped the biggest hint yet that retirement is not yet on the cards, saying he will probably race on for another two years. Speculation has been rife since Herve Poncharal announced Tech3 would exit Yamaha at the end of 2018 that Rossi's VR46 team would step up into the premier class but Rossi has played that down. “I didn’t expect Poncharal to leave Yamaha. We thought about it and it would have been a great opportunity, but in the next two years we will not make a MotoGP team with Yamaha,' said Rossi. “I'll probably race for the next two years, so hopefully, we'll talk about the team later when I stop - but not in 2019 or 2020.'
