– Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso set the quickest time during the first practice session for the Grand Prix of the Americas at a very wet Austin.Running was initially delayed due to the inclement conditions at the Circuit of the Americas and proceedings were interrupted further when a stray dog appeared on track, causing the session to be halted while the animal was retrieved.Once running resumed, World Champion Marc Márquez led the way for much of the session but Dovizioso edged ahead at the end of running as he posted a time of 2:19.402 to finish almost half a second quicker than the Honda rider.Scott Redding was an impressive third fastest for Marc VDS, with Yamaha's Valentino Rossi...
