Reigning world champion Marc Márquez set the quickest time during the opening day of MotoGP’s second pre-season test at Phillip Island. Repsol Honda rider Márquez, who clinched his third title in the premier class in 2016, posted a time of 1:29.497 to finish 0.186s clear of Yamaha rival Valentino Rossi at the home of the Australian Grand Prix.
