Rabat to sit out Phillip Island MotoGP test

Marc VDS will run just one bike at Phillip Island for this week’s three-day test, with Tito Rabat forced to the sidelines with injuries. Rabat has failed to recover from his crash at Sepang, from which he suffered a distal fracture of the radius and a fracture of the fifth metacarpal in the right hand, along with a fracture to the distal phalanx in the right foot. However the biggest problem is a laceration to his left knee, which required a skin graft.
