Crutchlow leads rain-lashed practice day

– LCR Honda's Cal Crutchlow set the quickest time during Friday practice for the Australian Grand Prix, which was affected by persistently heavy rain.Crutchlow clocked a time of 1:40.957 in the wet opening session, before the second session was delayed, and then abandoned, after only a handful of exploratory laps due to the weather.The worsening conditions, and subsequent cancellation of the second session, meant all of the riders posted their quickest times during the first 45-minute block of running.Pramac's Danilo Petrucci trailed Crutchlow by just 0.053s, with local rider Jack Miller third for Marc VDS.Newly crowned champion Marc Márquez collected fourth position, in front of...
