Smith undergoes surgery after Oschersleben Endurance crash

MotoGP star Bradley Smith looks likely to miss next weekend’s Silverstone round after undergoing surgery on the leg he injured during a crash at the Oschersleben Eight-Hours. The Monster Yamaha man went under the knife to fix a hole in his knee after having an MRI and is now waiting on an assessment from Dr Xavier Mir so he can plan a recovery process but riding at the British Grand Prix looks unlikely at best. 'I had an MRI scan done on my knee, which showed some ligament damage. Now we are waiting for the specialist to give us some information, which is Doctor Mir from Barcelona.
