Cal Crutchlow might have waited 35 years from Barry Sheene last took a premiere class victory for Britain in MotoGP – but the LCR Honda rider’s victory at yesterday’s Czech Grand Prix bears an uncanny similarity with Sheene’s 1981 Swedish win – something highlighted when we delved into the MCN archives to find Sheene’s exclusive column in the 19 August 1981 edition of the paper!
