Marquez copied Lorenzo’s style to improve Brno race pace

Marc Marquez says he has been copying the riding style of nearest title rival Jorge Lorenzo in a bid to improve his long-run pace for the Czech Grand Prix. Honda rider Marquez scorched to an unlikely pole at Brno on Saturday, beating Lorenzo by two tenths thanks to a mesmerising final lap in which he dived past Valentino Rossi at the last corner. It followed a third practice session where Lorenzo dominated, leading points leader Marquez to look towards his nearest title challenger to make some changes to his style to help tyre longevity. The two-time champion said a combination of these changes, plus some set-up tweaks – including the use of aerodynamic winglets – helped him improve....
