MotoGP: Aspar Ducati confirm Bautista for 2017

The Aspar Ducati squad have confirmed that Alvaro Bautista will be returning to the team for the 2017 MotoGP season, as he returns to the outfit he claimed his world championship with in the 125GP class. Joining the team after a difficult season with Aprilia, where he and teammate Stefan Bradl have been replaced by Sam Lowes and Aleix Espargaró, the Spaniard says he’s delighted to be back. “I am happy to be returning to what was my home for many years in the World Championship, where I enjoyed my best results including the 125cc World Championship title and fought for another title in 250cc.
