Casey Stoner's former MotoGP chief mechanic, Cristian Gabarinni, is set to join Jorge Lorenzo at Ducati next season to head up the Spaniard's crew in 2017, Motorsport.com has learned. Gabarrini currently works as crew chief to Jack Miller at the Marc VDS Honda squad, but the Japanese manufacturer has confirmed that the Italian will not feature in its plans next season.
