MotoGP is poised to visit Finland in 2018, after promoter Dorna Sports signed an agreement with the under-construction Kymi Ring track. It will be the first time that Grand Prix motorcycle racing will have visited the Nordic country since 1982, which marked the championship's last race at the Imatra track. The new Kymi Ring facility is located near the town of Kausala, and is designed by Clive Bowen's Apex Circuit Design firm. It will be 4.8km long and feature 15 turns.
