Baz to make return from injury at Sachsenring

Loris Baz will make his MotoGP return during the German motorcycle Grand Prix this weekend, having missed the last two races due to injury. The Avintia Racing rider suffered fractures in his right foot after a three-way crash with Jack Miller and Alvaro Bautista in Mugello, going on to miss races at Barcelona and Assen as he underwent surgery. The 23-year-old has now recovered from the collision and will compete in the ninth round at Sachsenring this weekend.   Ducati tester Michele Pirro had filled in for the French rider in the last two rounds, finishing 15th in Barcelona and crashing out at Assen. Baz currently sits 21st in the standings, with eight points from six rounds.
