Rossi aims for more Assen success

Movistar Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi heads to this weekend's MotoGP Championship event at Motul TT Assen feeling confident after winning the last outing at Barcelona. In the last race on June 5 at the Catalunya MotoGP, the Italian won ahead of Honda's Marc Marquez while Yamaha teammate Jorge Lorenzo crashed out. In the MotoGP standings, Rossi is in third place with 103 points after seven races and is 12 points behind teammate Lorenzo. At the top of the standings is Marquez with 125 points. Rossi is very at home in Assen having a total of nine wins at the oldest MotoGP circuit.
