Avintia Ducati’s Baz ruled out of Assen MotoGP round

Avintia Ducati’s Loris Baz has been ruled out of next weekend’s Assen MotoGP round as he is not yet fit enough to ride and will again be replaced by test rider Michele Pirro. Although rebah is going well and the French rider had stitches removed from his foot, Baz will have to return to Geneva to have some metalwork taken out before he is able to race again. “I’m really disappointed for not being able to ride in Assen. This was my target after the crash in Mugello. But to be honest, from the very first moment the doctors told me that being ready for Assen would be really difficult.
