Laverty hopes to improve in qualifier

Aspar MotoGP Team rider Eugene Laverty heads to the next round of the MotoGP World Championship at Jerez this weekend hoping to continue with his decent start to the season. The Northern Irishman is sitting in ninth position in the MotoGP standings with 21 points. In the season opener in Qatar, he finished 12th, in the second race in Argentina he got fourth place and last time out in Austin finished in 12th position. Though happy with the positive start to 2016, Laverty feels that he needs to improve his qualifying times to become a regular top-ten challenger.
