Marquez brothers part ways with VR46 Racing Apparel

Marc and Alex Marquez’s management agency have this morning officially confirmed that the brothers have split with VR46 Racing Apparel, Valentino Rossi’s highly successful merchandising company. The split was first rumored to have taken place at the end of the 2015 season after Marquez’s and Rossi’s on-track clash and public falling out at Sepang, but was denied at the time by senior members of the Spaniard’s camp. The story then reappeared a number of weeks ago. Linking the brothers to Spanish-based GP Racing Apparel, the company behind merchandising for a number of riders including Jorge Lorenzo and Nicky Hayden.
