Marquez unhappy with pace at Sepang test

Marquez at the Sepang International Circuit on Monday. REPSOL Honda’s Marc Marquez ended the first day of the Sepang test down in seventh as his focus remained on adapting his riding style to the new spec-ECU. The double MotoGP World Champion set a best time of  2:02.278 on lap 32 of 50 as he assessed a new engine back-to-back with the one his team debuted at a private Jerez test in November. Marquez finished 1.594s off the pace of Movistar Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo who finished day one at the top of the timesheets. Speaking about day one, the Spaniard commented: ‘After going the entire winter without getting on my bike, today we began the first preseason test of 2016....
